Oriented Strand Board (OSB)

Oriented Strand Board (OSB) is a practical functional material, which is often used in construction and finishing work. This is a perfect alternative to the regular particle board and an irreplaceable element in carcass construction. On top of that OSB is used in the production of balanced floor surfaces. OSB is a safe and reliable construction material that has a wide variety of uses in construction of various difficulties. OSB has the combination of best qualities of natural wood and best technological qualities of board materials. OSB itself is a 3-4 layered sheet formed from small wood strands. They are bonded together by using various resin solutions. To ensure durability and reliability of the bonding elements, the strands are placed in varying orientations in the board; in outer layers in longitudinal orientation and in internal layers in diametrical orientation.
